Game Changer
Introduction
This game is about a clinical trial a research study conducted to evaluate the safety, efficacy, and side effects of medical treatments, drugs or interventions in humans. It typically involves multiple phases, each with specific goals, from early testing in small groups to large-scale studies aimed at determining broader effects.
Instruction
Game Controls
- Move - Hold down Left Mouse Button and Drag
- Open Buildings / Click Buttons - Left Mouse Click
- Zoom - Mouse Scroll Wheel
- ESC key - Exit Fullscreen
Navigating Buildings
- To acquire Building you must purchase them from the shop
- Once this is achieved you can choose where to place your building
- Left Click on the building on your screen to open that building's UI
- There is more in-depth information on specific buildings in further instructions
How to Start a Medical Trial
- Complete a protocol, the button can be found in the top left Phone UI or home office building click on a manager and analyze protocol button
- Once complete you need to seek the necessary documents that can be completed in the hospital
Hospital Trial
- First, you need to buy a hospital building and hire a nurse. You can hire nurses using the Phone UI inside located at the bottom right.
- Next, you have to finalize the protocol, and then you can click on a patient.
- There is a Windows Floppy Disk icon in the middle of the screen that stores the protocols. You can click it to open and review what needs to be done.
- Complete the tasks outlined in the task review.
- You must follow the correct order of the analyze protocols:
- 1. eConsent - Electronic consent obtained from participants
- 2. RTSM - Randomization and Trial Supply Management manages patient randomization and drug supply distribution.
- 3. eCOA - Electronic Clinical Outcome Assessment captures data on patient health status directly from them.
- 4. EDC - Electronic Data Capture system for collecting and managing clinical trial data.
- 5. TMF - Trial Master File repository for all essential documents related to the trial.
- If the protocol button turns red, it means you are either in the wrong order or there are no protocols displayed in the patient task review.
- If the storage is full, you must drag the task review one at a time to the filing cabinet.
